Fixing My Big Mistake

I made a significant mistake in fitting the deck onto Pinguino's hull. I misread an instruction and did not laminate the three deck pieces on each side that join to the hulls shear line together before starting to assemble the deck. As a result, the 
mid and rear pieces overlapped by about .5 inches. Instead of calling Pygmy to ask what the problem was, I trimmed the pieces to fit. This caused a problem in fitting the rear of the cockpit combing. Finally, I called Pygmy. They were very helpful in diagnosing 
the problem and providing a fix. Thanks especially to Jim for his help and patience and for not making me feel like a bumbling fool. Lesson Learned: When in doubt, step back and.....
