I really liked my Big Agnes inflatable sleeping pad. It was very comfortable and packed up small which is great for fitting through a hatch into a kayak. But on this last trip to the Saguenay, Big Agnes failed. Yes, Big Agnes sprung a leak. It was sort of a "medium" leak, one that didn't deflate all at once yet fast enough so that you were aware of what was happening. And it happened on the first night of the trip. Bummer! I So I spent five nights sleeping on wooden platforms with only a flattened Crazy Creek chair's hard foam for cushioning. But still, Big Agnes had been a faithful companion on many trips over some six years. So I believed that she needed a fitting goodbye. This video records that send off. RIP Big Agnes.
