From Loreto to La Paz:                                                                                        A Baja California, Mexico, Audio and Video Journal

March 2018

I had a wonderful adventure paddling in Mexico in March of 2018.  The trip was a gift from my wife Lisa on my 75th birthday.  The adventure was in two parts: Part 1, everything involved in getting there, and Part 2, the paddling adventure itself.  This report is an experiment as I have posted my audio notes from the trip, rather than written text.  Listening to all ov them may get a little long for you.  If so, skip down to the videos or click here to read an excerpt of the story that will be incorporated in to my next book, The $70,000 Outhouse - More paddling adventures from the author of The Idling Bulldozer.

I’ll end the audio tour here, though there is much more.  I don’t want to tax your patience more than I already have.  I used these audio notes and photos in writing the story of this adventure for my next book  Click here to read an excerpt of this story that will be in that book.

Our van ride to the put-in.  Three and one half hours of high anxiety, punctuated by moments of sheer terror.

Two days of paddling in four to six foot waves (Don’t get sea sick!).

First camp.

This is just a sampling of what this adventure was like.  It was wonderful experience with great wilderness, great scenery, great people, and great food
