I have been tracking the comings and goings of the various derelict boats abandoned on the Indian River Lagoon near Sebastian, Florida, for over eight years. There is a new crop every year or two as the state hauls off some, and others are abandoned to take their place. So many of these boats look like they are salvageable, while others, left for years, lie disintegrating in their final resting places, the shallow waters of the Lagoon's spoil islands. Each one has a story of how it came to be there, a story that I do not know, a story that ends with a dream washed up on a shallow shore in Florida. This video is the latest of some eight done over those years. They can all be found here, gathered in one place.
